Subject: Grub worms

I found a large amount of grub worms around one pumpkin plant...other plant soil seems ok. Suggestions? Obviously don't want to harm earth worms. Thank you.

Merit will work for all grubs. Most larvae would prefer to ingest and feed off turf roots. If you're trying to be sensitive to the other beneficial insects you could consider manually picking them out and drenching with cedar oil. I believe the svb is the only larvae that will negatively impact your season. You're likely looking at japanesse beetle, chafer or asiatic garden beetle.
