Subject: Burying main vines and females

I see a lot of new growers are burying their vines and females. Now is the time to start putting your "S" curve in the main and make slack for when that female pumpkin is 1500lbs. If you don't it will rip the pumpkin stem from the vine

For newer growers wait till hot part of day before moving vines. If you move them in the morning you'll wish you waited.

I just broke my main overdoing the bend. Unfortunately the hottest part of the day was pretty cool and we just had a bunch of rain making the whole vine unusually brittle. Be careful and take it slow is the lesson here.

make sure the temps are at least 100deg before you attempt a bend like that in the main vine.It wouldn't hurt to back off on the water for a couple of days also. Or SNAP
