this hazardous weather outlook is for western and north central new
york.

.day one...this afternoon and tonight.

the chance of widespread hazardous weather is low.

.days two through seven...sunday through friday.

several rounds of scattered to numerous thunderstorms are
expected to develop later sunday afternoon through monday. a few
of these storms may become severe with isolated damaging wind
gusts. the time frame of greatest risk for severe thunderstorms
will be late sunday afternoon and evening.

in addition...some storms will produce very heavy rainfall locally
which may result in flash flooding. the time frame of greatest
risk for heavy rain and flooding will be sunday night.
