Got a really late start. Two excellent plants. On one the main is growing faster(today it is 13" Longer). The other has more and longer laterals. The Mother of its seed is larger. Must decide today which to cut--can't put it off longer.

biggest plant over all has most roots

Roots == faster/better overall plant.

a main that is on fire with no sides will not support a fruit as good as a bigger plant overall.
