Please suggestions for using extreme teas. So much info written. I'd just like a basic, easy to use tea. To buy or make my own? I use fish & kelp once a week...when to use tea? Thanks!!!

Extreme tea seems pretty good. I like to make my own as well. I'll take some alfalfa pellets, some humic acid, an old leaf and some earthworm casting from my bins and then put that a paint strainer bag and brew it aerated for about 24 hours. Sometimes I'll add a touch of unsulfered molasses to that as well.

If you want to keep it real simple, just add 2 cups of worm castings and a few TBS of corn syrup or unsulphured molasses to a 5 gal bucket and bubble it for 24 hours depending on the temp it could take 48.(the more air the better and the warmer the faster its ready) Look for frothy foam around the edge of the bucket. Then use as often as you want. Leave 10 % of the tea in the bucket ,add water and more corn syrup or molasses. Then your next batch will be ready the next day or two days. Its a never ending cycle of beneficial microbial growth. I've viewed this exact tea under my microscope and I was blown away by the diversity of life.

But don't forget to make sure there is no chlorine!

I use 3 tbs of Molasses, and a handful of alfalfa meal.
I built my own brewer using the biggest pump they had at petco, some plastic pipe and a 5 gallon bucket. The Alfalfa and Worm Castings go in a paint strainer bag and the Molasses goes in the water.

I have never thought about leaving some of the finished tea in the bucket as a kick starter for the new batch. Thats a really good idea.

Catond,
My experience is the exact opposite. You dramatically lose diversity over time. Here is a writeup on perpetual brewing by a good friend of mine. https://logicalgardener.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=576
