Been a first time in a long time we havent had at least one day over 80 in May for Colorado... plus it looks lie Seattle outside... havent seen the Sun in weeks.... Im thinking of having a seed auction so I can get coats for my pumpkins and chickens... Be damn hard to have a 6 foot main by end of May...Oh well Mother Nature ruleZ.... Our damns are full, and our snow shovels are in the ready.... Im installing a propane heater in the patch as we speak..lol

We are having the best Spring ever. Pumpkins are sitting with 9 to 10 ft mains. Sunny and warm with just a hint of a breeze. I wouldn't string you along at all Wizzy so BELIEVE me lol

Second that Wiz. I literally put in a grow light into each hoop house to get the plants some light. Looks like 50%+ chance of rain almost every day for the next 10 days as well. Can't remember ever having a May like this in Colorado.

We have been inundated with rain and cold in Montana.Today was the first time in a couple weeks we had sun.My plants weren't used to real sun,so they flagged a little.I have my 1717 Fulk with an 11' main and a 2009 x 2032 cross at 7'.Things going well over here

Wizzy, it sure looked like a tough game for the Rockies fans to sit there and watch last night, out in the cold and getting all beat up by the Phillies again. The friggin fielders were wearing ski masks lol.

Wizzy I don't know what you think Seattle looks like but its been pretty much all blue skies here this month. Great weather in the Pacific Northwest so far.

Deal With It

I wanted to put my backups (pair of 1460 Gehweiler) in the ground this holiday weekend, but it's going to have to wait. Flash Flood Watch from now until Monday morning, with a widespread 3-6 inches of rain...on already-saturated ground. Three days since the last rain, but I'm still sinking in at least three inches where I have to step on the ground. Too cold here, as well.

Ice... I was wondering where our weather went... Please send at least some sunshine our way... Havent seen it for two weeks.. Youll have to send me picZ before I beleive...once bit, twice shy...lol ..My plants are still in the hoopZ... I used to taking the hoopZ down by now... not this year... So the chickenZ are getting my lovin.

At least we are not like the some of Texas folks...Some are getting 5" a rain in one day...
OrangeNeck..Ill agree on the cold, I bet the baseball self deflated a pound.... :) Oh..wrong sport... At least the RockZ split the series...
I hear Atlanta is the place to be for the Memorial Weekend... I should of planted there...

Good Luck All... My Goal is a GPC coat...Mother Nature willing...
