Could anyone point me in the right direction to see how the scoring works?

Hank,
In 2014 the points scored was figured once all the qualifiers were determined. To qualify a grower/s must have 5 official entries of the 6 GPC categories (AG,SQ,FP,WM,TO,LG). Grower's heaviest fruit entered in each category were used to determine their score in that category. The category with the highest number of qualifiers determined the top score for all categories, regardless of number of qualified growers in each category. Fruits were listed with the best getting top scoring, and the next best would score one point less. If a grower qualified in all six categories, their "lowest" scoring category would be thrown out leaving their other five categorical scores in the final tally. Good Luck :)

That explains it very well. I am going to attempt to qualify this year. It will be quite the challenge for sure if less than 50 people made it last year. One challenge is they will have to be weighed out of state with no GPC weigh-offs in Virginia. Thanks Cornhusk and best wishes to you this year.
