In order to continue to pursue new sponsorship opportunities as we move forward, the GPC has created a committee position specifically to reach out to corporate sponsors. The Director of Sponsorships is a non-board position whose sole focus will be to coordinate between the GPC and all sponsor contacts. We have appointed Eddy Zaychkowsky to take on this project, and he will be a great addition to the team.

Eddy’s first deal has been the sponsorship from Maple Craft Construction and WOW. The following are the details we are pleased to share with you:


1) Maple Craft will cover the $14,200.00 to the 2015 prize money list

2) Maple Craft and WOW will cover the same bonus Structure that RTI has as long as WOW products are used.

3) All Bonus monies paid are only available at the GPC seminar and if you do not attend, then there is no payout. (Extenuating circumstances will apply)

I want to personally give a big thanks to Eddy and Ron for their continued support of the GPC and helping to move the hobby forward!

RTI was the sponsor so they had bonus categories for the use of their products.

Top 3 Master Gardner
Top 3 Field Pumpkin
Top 3 Tomato
Top 3 long gourds
Top 3 watermelon
This price money will not change you can use Marks products, Hollands, WOW or Home depot etc
This totals $14,200.00

The WOW promotion is exactly the same as the RTI one the GPC used in past years.
So here is this explanation.
The last few years have been extremely tough on RTI with their expansions and new product lines. (they can invest millions in a product before it hits the shelves)
RTI had started their sponsorship several years back and only in the last little while they have had a few hiccups.
Their sponsorship was greatly appreciated and rather than close the book on RTI, Ron Wallace (WOW) and myself are trying to relieve some stress for RTI. If and when RTI are able to pick up where they left off, they will be more than welcome. Ron and or I would step back and let them carry on as it was.
Just for clarification, Ron (WOW)is the exclusive distributor for RTI products and those same products is what the bonus structure was based on.

There is no proof of purchase necessary and pretty much anything with RTI and or WOW labels is good.

Why WOW? well Wow step up and offered. It's that simple
If any other company wants in and would like to sponsor a category etc. By all means get ahold of me because that's my job. I will run this like a business and not a friends club. I want to find new sponsors. My main focus will be NON pumpkin related resources ie Ford, Toyota etc maybe even Libby's cause after all they are from the Valley of the Jolly Green Giants.
With Non related sponsors, we are bringing in new money and not just circulating growers dollars
So keep asking and if you have any ideas or contacts let me know
