Just received my heater cables & instructions vague. Any links for help? Tried a couple & still many questions. Can cables be placed in dirt or do I have to use fabric/netting of sorts? Thanks growers. Always a wealth of info!!!

12-18 Inches in the Dirt, and make sure they ever overlap or touch. I make plastic staples to anchor then back fill

Thank you for answers, but they can be laid directly on dirt, right? AND do you weave back & forth or lay them in circular pattern. I need to research more videos, but the ones I've watched have one putting down fabric or a type of netting underneath. Also, 3-4 inches apart a good distance? I DO have garden stakes to separate the cables. Thanks!!!

Yes directly on/in the dirt. Any pattern is fine as long as the cables don't touch. Don't mess up and put the connector in the middle of the circle that's something I would do lol.

if you go to countryboy's diary last year he has a pic of his all laid out before they were buried. I think just looking will answer many of your questions.
