The "Michigan Giant Pumpkins Growers" had there annual seminar Saturday April 4, 2015.
Again a great time had by all, with great food, great people and great times, it does not get any better !
Heard from Mark Clementz, Don Barron, John Harnica as well as others.
There was 6 awards given out for State records, Pumpkin - Mark Clementz, Squash - John Harnica, Field pumpkin - Bob Wells, Tomato - Mark Clementz, Long Gourd - Mark Clementz and Tall Corn - Marvin Mitchell and Darrel Berry, they tied with both having tall corn at 24' 8".
I sat with Don Von Houtte, Eric Proctor, Ken Sweet, Mr. Needlemire (SP), Marvin Mitchell and Bill Edwards.

The seminar was 1st class as always, they do a lot for all the growers in Michigan. It was also great to see and talk to all the growers that were there. Some of them I only get to see once a year, so it always makes it one of the best days of the year.

The food was out of sight and lots of it.
Thanks Bob, John and Joe for all you do for us.
