John's a great guy to.

What's wrong with Don posting some videos about Dan's tomato? I wasn't able to go to the convention so for people like me,,,, this is the only place I may see something like this....

There's something else stirring in your head that I'm not aware of I guess?

This is a post about the 8.41 Maccoy not about field pumpkins. Start another thread about John's field pumpkins
and respect this post for what it.

Yes nice video I wish more WR holders would make a video with there fruit.Kinda of hard to promote what aint there? Yes Dan used voodoo Juice as well as other fine products.

3/29/2015 6:42:51 AM

Yes I used other products on the tomato.
Dunkel's was also a big part of it.
We were doing a photo shoot for Ron and RTI and I didn't have all my products in there with me.

The purpose for this video is to show people in my own words how I pruned my plants .
Don and I thought it would be a good idea to wait until after the big show to share it.

I agree don't let the one person who is so bored that he always has something say ruin this great information! My dad told me to try to prune that way last year and I said no you need a big plant ...lol boy was I wrong...I think the only problem with this post is the one person that's jealous lol keep on rocking Don and Dan

I am only guessing, but I would imagine that the reason you don't need such a massive plant for tomatoes as you do for pumpkins is because the roots are what is most important. Bigger pumpkin plants mean more root coverage, but tomatoes are standing upright and the amount of foliage is not adding to the root mass.
Just a guess...

not trying to be rude, ignorant or sarcastic!! Looking for some honesty here!!Made the trip to NYC and was asked what product i used?? Well guess what? I used Hollands !!. How can you promote one product when you know others were incorporated into the regimen????

4/3/2015 9:30:08 PM

Porkchop

Central NY

Donkin --when you see my video next fall setting a new record somewhere above 9 lbs, please cut me some slack.. Like Dan,I will be very open about all products I used.. Between interviews in newsletters and message boards I'm sure I'll have covered all the products I used..like Dan did..but if uncle dunkle himself is here takin video.. I might only talk about dunkels..but I promise I'm not gonna hide anything...

4/4/2015 11:00:48 AM

Eddyz@efirehose.net

Carl, going into New York, you knew RTI was the GPC sponsor, when your on the GPC's invite you should in good faith promote the sponsors at hand if you used it. If you only used Holland's products, then you would say, I used a competitors product and leave it at that, kind of a gentleman's agreement not to bash either
Now, when Hollands want to use your pumpkin on their web site then that's the avenue for you to disclose the fact that you used their product.
Hollands wouldn't use the 2009 Wallace on their web site stating this was grown using RTI products.
So everything in it's place. And there is enough room for everybody

Sorry to burst your bubble Porkchop!! But when I hit the 10 pound + world record, I'll be wearing a shirt like a NASCAR driver's fire suit. I'll have every sponsor listed so I won't have to answer questions like this. I will however thank each and every one during any and all interviews.
