I just wanted to take the chance to really recognize Eddy for everything that he has done when it comes to giant pumpkin growing and beyond. His support for the clubs has been amazing! It goes without saying that his contributions really have made a huge difference in order to keep the money flow coming into the clubs throughout the country. He has also been extremely generous when it has come to various good causes, multiple times, as well. I'll never forget what he did for the "Make a Wish Auction" last year. Now, with his actions in relation to an auction in order to support Ken and BigPumpkins.com, it's just another example of his kindness and greatness as a person. He has been generous to me and to a lot of others who are regulars on this site. He is an amazing credit to our hobby. The world could use a lot more Eddy's out there. Thanks for everything that you do buddy! You certainly make the world a much better place!!!

I remember back when I was trying to buy 1068 Wallace seeds at auction 10 or so years ago & Eddy always out bid me. Eventually I realized that he was just trying to help the clubs raise money. Then a couple years ago my 2009 Wallace didn't germinate...and out of the blue Eddy sent me a 2009 seed & a note wishing me good luck. Nobody else does that. Eddy is a one of a kind & we are lucky to have him!

Out of the blue Eddie emailed me and said that if I have the dirt he has the seed. He sent me the first 603.5 muller seed that I ever planted, that plant ended up being the pollinator for the original cross in my entire orange breeding program. Thanks Eddie!!!!

lets see, eddy sent me my "dream seed" a few years back after i had tried to get one at auctions with no luck.he then stole the show at the make a wish auction i put on last year by setting the record for highest price ever paid for a pumpkin seed, 1800 bucks, wow.that still amazes me when i think of it, and actually still have the screenshot saved of that somewhere.as if that was not enough, now he has put together this amazing fishing trip for the winner of the 2015 make a wish contest, oh and he also has supported most every club in some form or another over the years. thats just a few things ive seen eddy do, hats off to ya sir.

We could go on & on about how Eddy has helped us or some one we know or a club, and I think we should. Guys don't come around like Eddy every day and the BP growing world is lucky to have a man like this playing such a big in our life and sport. So I say THANKS Eddy for all you do.
