Maybe Beni or someone who has interviewed him could help with this question.How deep is his soil? According to the February,2015 OVGPG newsletter," The soil in the greenhouse is 50 inches deep". According to the December,2014 SNGPG newsletter," My Peat mixture which we buy from STENDERS AG is only 12 inches deep, and below that is regular soil mixed with Peat Moss.6 more inches down is hard pan Clay..."

Dont know the depth. Hes been growing in the same spot for quite a few years and he adds a new layer each year. Has enough peat (wont break down much) in there that its got to be quite deep unless hes removed some. his organic % was i believe around 70%
