About a year ago, someone asked about Bob Fox (1965-early 1970s). We have a story from the Akron Beacon Journal (1969) at our website: www.ovgpg.com "Articles page 3-5"
He grew a 301# Hungarian squash, appeared on the Johnny Carson Show and met Prince Philip at the Toronto Winter Fair. Fox also had a variety in Burpee's catalog named "Right Royal" ( Hubbard x Hungarian squash). Not sure if he knew about Warnock or Dill.
