1562 Est. Miller 2013 1168 Young x 1658 Young Gary was in New York with his 1985 so he missed the weigh-off planned for this one. Gary moved it and believed it would of been very over the chart. I grew this seed and pollinated my 1985 Miller (1257Barlow'14) with it. The pumpkin I grew on the 1562 was kinda blocky and light colored. I lost that plant/pumpkin to disease.

It was a 1168 Young x 1658 Young grown by Gary Miller in 2013. Listed as damage but I can't verify the reason. Both Gary and I grew it in 2014, he recorded a 1393 (1562 Miller EST x 1622 Young) and I had a 985.5 ( 1562 Miller EST x 1874.5 Mathison.) The plant was aggressive and at the time could have posted a top 2 weight at the Ohio State Fair. it was very wide shouldered, fairly uniform with a slightly sucked in blossom end. The skin was extremely cantalouped with a medium orange color. Hope this helps. -Dave

Thank you both. I've just received seeds from Gary and his remarks about the seed are: "I grew 2800 lbs. on same plant. Love this seed."
