I have been thinking about how much the direction in which we grow the plants(N,S,E,W) has on the overall performance of the plant throughout the season.
Most orchards are planted with the rows running north to south to maximize sunlight interception. Has anyone recorded data or experimented with growing in different directions? If you have taken observations what were the results?
Thanks, Mikkal
