I bought a back pack sprayer last year, one of those ones you pump yourself but the delivery is ridiculously slow and then it gets blocked every 5 seconds so I just don't use it.

So, my wish is for a Stihl backpack mister but at £500 plus some it's not even remotely practical this year.

Maybe I can buy a cheap petrol driven pump and knock one together (anyone have experience here?)

On your back pack sprayer.... Remove the screens.... It's the first thing I do with any sprayer now.... That should help.

Yup...also I run my mix through a nylon strainer to catch all the crap that clogs the sprayer ... Power sprayer would be sweet

Dandy, why use your existing backpack tank and run the hose to the end of a cheap gas powered leaf blower with a valve on the hose so it drips slowly at the end of the blower. If you are handy you can make your own mist blower that way for real cheap. A grower near me did that and it works great.

I saw a 25 x 50 Greenhouse for sale on Craigslist. I wish I had the land to put it on. that would be about perfect for growing two plants.
