"What is a 'One Too Many'?" Don´t tell me that it is a small pumpkin, which looks like a Scotsman after that glass of Whiskey, that he shouldn´t have drunk. As a pumpkin breeder I only want to know, how this variety came into being. Is it a C. maxima `Cinderella´ x the fig-leafed gourd C. ficifolia?

I saw in one catalog that it is PVP applied for. I checked the USDA web site that lists all PVP varieties and they did not have it listed. Until they list the PVP certificate you probably have a hard time tracking it down. Maybe if you find a package of seed and contact the company selling it, they might be able to get you the information you desire.

Iowegian, I thank you so much! Seed sellers do not tell me anything about this variety... nobody wants to no anything. I will do the cross Cinderella x C. ficifolia this year to answer my speculative question. I´ve done some other crosses with the pollinator C. ficifolia, and most of them are very suitable, because the new varieties have more tolerance against diseases and pests through the hard shelled skin of the fig-leafed gourd.

Lol G! If PVP has been applied for it means the variety is stable, not a F1, but I'm sure you already knew that right Ludwig?

He must have to change his name when he goes into the witness protection program.
