Did anyone happen to make a cross such as true green squash x 2328 with the limited 2328 pollen? If not, are there any similar crosses (ie. True green squash x 2009, or for that matter, any true green squash x ag? Thanks.

A late genetics cross was a 2328 cross by Scott Steil but I haven't heard if he got viable seeds. Freeze got him.
1478.5 Holub (282 Scherber x 615 Cantrell), 557 Cantrell (282 Scherber x 1175 Holub) The 282 Scherber is off a selfed clone cutting that grew the 2009.
I think Pete Mohr has a 2009 x 905 Mohr (green) cross.
I also have a green 615 x 1530 Gehweiler which makes the seeds 3/4 pumpkin carrying a green gene and 1/4 2009

My 1135 x 2328 did not yield any viable seeds. The plant froze when it was just over beachball size and the seeds were not mature.

Just so folks know, the seeds from an AG x Squash or Squash x AG cross will not produce any green offspring the first (F1) generation out.
You'll need to self or sib cross plants from those seeds and then plant those second generation (F2) seeds before any green ones show up. Assuming no other genetic interference, 1/4 of those F2s should throw greenies, and 3/4 should throw pumpkins.
The 615 Cantrell seed that grew the world record was a SQ x AG F2 seed selected for green.
Much more detail on why this is can be found in some squash board posts from the past couple years or in the newsletter article about the 1578*.

Check out Lot#7 on the NEGPGA Auction. Squash lot has the 1130Jutras-Sq = 1002Jarvis-Sq x 1221Werner-AG This could be the start to something good.
