comrades-
The "Giant Pumpkin Grower's Patch Guide" is a tool I developed a little over a year ago to serve as a practical reference piece catered to the competitive enthusiast. It is a spiral-bound, heavyweight paper, full color booklet that contains weight estimation charts for giants, watermelon, and fieldys, a unit conversion table (how many tablespoons in a cup???), the Ailts/Landry benchmarks for 1400lbs (what should my circ be on day 50 to hit 1400?), soil test interpretation guidelines and recommended strategies for adjusting macro/micronutrients, as well as a reference page that points you towards some of the more useful sites for disease diagnosis, etc.
While I feel these pages cover the essentials you'd expect in an AGP reference guide, there's always room for improvement. I'm sitting down to produce version 2.0 over the winter and I'd love to solicit your feedback on what you feel should be included.
Please offer your suggestions here or send a message to stcroixgrowers@frontiernet.net
If you dont have a guide but are interested, you can find them at the St. Croix Growers Assn website: www.stcroixgrowers.org
thanks for your contributions!!

Gladly. can you point me to where this resource exists and to whom I can ask permission to use?
Is there a chart for long gourds? :)
