Both Discovery & Science channels Saturday night November 29 , Pumpkin Chunkin , 8 to 9 pm 9 to 10 pm Super Chunk ; trying to launch close to a 1000 pound pumpkin with a catapult , don't miss it !!!

I watched it also it was awesome they chunked a giant pumpkin about 970 pound pumpkin.

It weighed 976 pounds on the digital scales just before chucking it . Chucked it from under the catapult swung it up and over and 100 feet 2 inches downrange which they did not mention in the show . That pumpkin did weigh 1005lbs when we picked it Oct 3rd and the show was taped Oct 26 in NH so it dehydrated 29 pounds in 23 days .

Yes it was pap , we picked Shirley and Jim up on our way by to Greenfield , NH back in October to witness the event first hand . I'm glad the car got hung up rather than the pumpkin as chunkin the pumpkin was a one shot deal !

Who knows , Super Chunkin might be a new venue next year .
