As you relax and enjoy the time off with your family and friends on Thanksgiving. Please take a moment to think about our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen serving around the world and not as fortunate to be home with their families. Remember, all Americans are able enjoy our freedoms because of the sacrifices they choose to make.

Let us also not forget our wounded warriors, their families, and the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. They personify the cost of freedom and show us all why it is so important to be thankful for the things many of us take for granted.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season.

I am grateful to be able to serve with the world's greatest and most respected military alongside each of them.
