The volume of growers is the key to this.All seeds are being planted as long as this continues,these seeds will keep maxing out and the big will continue to get larger 3000lbs will happen.

2010 was the season of 1810 stevens and 1725 sweet (being the two fruit over 1700lbs). Four short years later 50 fruit over 1700(including Circleville). And 513.7 lbs bigger than the 1810 weight. Theres got to be a ceiling but it appears to be quite high..

eventually there will be a ceiling.everything has a max. when that happens is anyones guess.thats not going to stop us from trying though. pap

5000 might be a stretch, but I think in paradise we will grow them 10,000 lbs. It has to be true otherwise it wouldnt be paradise.lol
