I was going through the massive list of 1800+ pounders and Stuck in the middle of a whole bunch of Pumpkins with very familiar genetics Is the 1900 Watson. Grown from a 1245 Berard and Pollinated with a 755 Berard. I can find no info on either of these pumpkins Does anybody know what the background on those two pumpkins were. Is this an opportunity to introduce some diversity into are ever narrowing genetic line of monsters?
On a side note does anybody have an E-mail address for Hiram or know how I could go about making a seed request.

1245 Berard 13' = 2009 Wallace X Self
755 Berard 13' = 1614 Watson EST DMG X 2009 Wallace

Above info is correct . Our 1245 developed a wet / rotting stem and was harvested / weighed on Sept 8 , 2013 to retrieve what we hoped would be a top of the line seed ( 2009 X 2009 ) Hiram wanted to try one and he did . On Sept 8 13' we were more concerned for the seeds inside this pumpkin than waiting 2 weeks or more for a GPC weigh - off . By taking the seeds out Sept 8 we were relieved the inside of the 1245 were in good condition and the seeds were fine.
Hiram weighed his fruit off the 755 plant he grew and it was around 345 OTT and settled the scale at 1069 pounds to take 1st at Rochester Fair in NH AND top me by 14 pounds.
We all know how he did at Topsfield Fair in MASS.
I guess you could say he batted 1000 for 2014 .
Captain email me berardal@hotmail.com for Hirams email address
