cucurbits

Northern California Foothills

Well my pumpkin goal for next year is 1000 pounds so my squash goal will be the same. Whether that actually happens remains to be seen.

I'm afraid that if I make a prediction, Mother Nature will figure out a new way to mess me up. In the past 3 years, she has sent late May frosts, 108 degree July days, 50 degree July and August nights, up to 6 weeks in a row without rain, 5" to 8" rains with a flood, hail and 80 mph winds. Hopefully I can get something decent if she just quits picking on me.

I went from 176lbs to 526lbs, so assuming an exponential curve, 1572! Ha, just kidding...shooting for 527lbs :). 800lbs is my stretch goal for my third year.

I want some of Bubbas, Chris' or Darren's meds. lol

It would be big to grow 800 in my yard with all the shade. This year was the perfect weather and that might not happen again for a while.

Same here Luke! I'll need to get some kind of shade up in case we get our normal summer bake down! I'm still going to push for 1200lbs next year!
