We were lucky to get to experience the NYC tour put on by the NY Botanical Gardens and the GPC. WHAT A GREAT TRIP! Pumpkins have opened many doors for us and this is another example. Getting to tour NYC,experiencing the great food while getting to meet other pumpkin growers. Can't be beat. We met the Neptunes, visited with Matt Bebacco and Dad, saw The Kelly and Michael show. When I started growing giant pumpkins, someone gave me a pin, made from a huge seed with felt backing, edged with orange and green beads. I was told it was made by you. True? I hope so, because I have always treasured it, coming from one of the grand ladies of pumpkin growing.

the Trip To NYC was just SO fun. NYC was Clean, Friendly, Beautiful! I hope you ALL get the chance to make this trip someday.
PS yep, nana Rea that sounds like one of my "pins". When it rains in the Winter in Napa my BEADS come out to play. Pumpkin seed Pins, tennis ball ornaments! LOL!
