It's my last year of grade school & probably my chance to go trick-or-treating so why not. Maybe watch a movie afterwards. How about you?

For the last few years I have started extra seeds and the more aggressive and healthy looking growers stay in the patch and the loser gets put in a back up area. The back up kins get used for jack-o-lanterns. This year it was the 1813 Northrup that got put in the shade. It grew two 300 pounders. My wife wants to put one at the bottom of the driveway and carvve it to look like me ? ? Me neither
The other one I hauled over to the city for my 6 year old grandson and he wanted to take it to school. The principal thought it was a great idea. Now it sets in the foyer of the school and they are having a guess the weight contest for the kids. Great fun!

We live off the beaten path, and our kids are grown, so Halloween is a quiet night here.

Ahhh there's nothing wrong with that, Cecil. Buy some candy & watch a movie, always a good time.

Probably won't be carving the the AG's as people like to sit on them and take their picture. Then they get fed to cows that belong to a fella i work with. I am going to carve 20 some fp's for display.
