Every year I carve my biggest for Halloween and I like to set them on the stem. My biggest before this year was 1230 and 4 of us could roll that up but I don't think we will be able to do 1600. I don't have a forklift but I do have a tripod for lifting. Any suggestions

Lower the pumpkin onto a bale or two of straw so one side is propped-up and you can get some leverage.

Maybe a crank hoist?

We use our tripod and a ramp made with firewood. The pumpkin will shift in the straps as it hits the ramp and ends up at an angle easy to stand up.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the ideas I've gotten here and thru emails. We have a young boy here in Canal who has a serious illness and the town sells t-shirts at football games, soccer games and every function in this small town to help raise money for his surgeries. Brock is 13 years old and has been sick for most of his life but he is the most upbeat kid I've ever met in my life. Well I want to put the design of the t-shirt on my pumpkin this year for him.
Here is his story and in the pic is Cincinnati Red's Brandon Phillips wearing the t-shirt I'm using for the design.

Thanks again for all the ideas.Paul
