York Maze has it's first weigh off as a GPC event in two days but we have no Prize package whatsoever.
A real shame if you ask me, is this usual?

dandy town yes you do have a prize package. small but still there none the less. the site must have received gpc ribbons and a couple plaques plus your contestants do qualify for any gpc prizes their pumpkins weight may attain. i will agree that for most sites to remain a success they must have a dollar payout for the top entries.thats just the way competition at a high level is awarded. the site itself will not be able to survive without drawing in competition and competition always runs in line with awards and prizes. pap

please forgive my abrubtness.....I was having a bad day.
York do have there own financial prize package for growers and I hear where you are coming from Pap. It was more the ribbons/plaques package that I was referring to.
Ian P has informed me that it was sent but it didn't arrive and that he was not aware of this until Friday gone which is a little late.
Serve me up some humble pie ;)
Apologies GPC
