Anybody else think it would be a good idea to have a Howard Dill award message post? Or for orange growers, I do, Thanks

It is an interesting thought. Maybe call it "Orange genes forum", just so that people will realize that you don't need to be a former/future HD award winner to participate. To some degree it already fits within the Genetics board... but to create a new board might be a worthwhile addition.

I think we have enough boards at this point. The HD discussions should be right at home in the genetics forum.

John Williams from North Canton OH. This may be his 3rd year in a row to win. 702.5 pounds, grown "sitting up", very nice shape. Don't know what seed it was grown from.

I think we have too many boards as is, but like D to the C from Nebraska said we could get rid of a few or even more to make room.

Maybe a HD 'Alert' with scrolling pictures. We had a real standout at Central Market this year. My pumpkin got a few votes, but I think out of sympathy. LOL

I would rather just have the entire site updated. It hasn't been done since the last century.
Live links would be nice so you don't have to copy and paste URLs. A better interface for posting diary photos that doesn't take 5 minutes to upload. The ability to edit and rearrange your posts would be good. A message board that brought posts back to the top of the board whenever someone makes a post so they don't get lost would be good. Web design has come a long way in the last 16 years. A site with this much use is worthy of an upgrade.

Not trying to start anything here, but, this site is about ag growing, so logically would'nt it be the 2nd most go to board, (a new orange-Howard dill board)? I agree with captain 97, maybe more auctions to help with up grades? (That's none of my business, kens,,getting out now,,,,his web site!)

Captain - if you use chrome (or firefox i think), get the "fastest fox" extension. It makes all those links clickable. Pretty handy for the chatroom too.

Not to worry. We shall use the AG Genetics and Breeding board. We shall use it early and often, and take no prisoners. Orange rules.

Got to have an orange forum! It would be one of the first forums you would run to when you log on to big pumpkins. I bet the people, who say we don't need an orange forum would be on it a lot, talken orange
