I really need to throw out a HUGE thank you to Don Crews, Alan Makarchuck, Mary Lobay, Gerry Groten, and John Kapaelari For allowing me take their pumpkins after the weigh off to carry on the tradition of Pumpkin Fest at Blue grass Nursery. This was out 11th year and all proceeds go to the Childrens Hospital in Calgary.

When I was younger I lived in Edmonton & my grandma would take us to Smoky Lake every year to see the pumpkins. It was always lots of fun.

That's awesome. It's good to see the growers in Alberta supporting this or any charity. Something we all should do more of. Keep up the great work.
