As the pumpkins hit the scales we start looking at OTT estimates and actual weights and figuring percentages to the plus or minus. What is the most official OTT chart that the GPC recognizes when entering data. I have the Team]Pumpkin 2013 Enhanced OTT Table; I also use the IPhone App from Annedawn Publishing. There are differences in the chart and the app. I think I have even seen different variations of the 2013 chart; the Team pumpkin chart and the Enhanced version. What should we all use to get our official estimates? Thoughts

I asked this same question not to long ago. The GPC chart is the official one.

Pumpkin estimates on the GPC OTT table are lighter then both the App and the 2013 enhanced tables. What do we think has proven to be the most accurate not necessarily the official table? In the end the estimating is just for fun and won’t change the outcome when you put it on the scale. I personally am going to dream big with the enhanced chart, but that could lead to disappointment in the end. Does anyone know what data was used to create the IPhone App? Why does it not match the GPC 2103 table?

Uninstall and reinstall the app, it should be matching the estimations for the chart here: http://gpc1.org/PDF/chartscombined.pdf
Which also matches the numbers in the weighoff results.

Abbynormal is right. the magic word is abracabra. Oh no I mean estimate. Abracadabra could work though because it seems there is some magic in this.

The only thing that happens when the chart is always changed is the % to chart changes every year. Giving inconsistencies on how heavy or light to the chart kins are each year. Making a kin that was 3% heavy one year possibly only 1% the next year . I vote to leave the chart the same every year
