Everybody is laying low,SHHHHH!! Keep it a secret! But go tell a friend. I still like making crazy predictions. The closer we get to the finish line the more Im convinced we will break the WR 3 times this season.Question is will we go over 2100??Michigan State Record will do the same, but will we break 2100 lbs?? Anybody else have any guesstimates??

Using history as a giude we are on schedule for about 2130 for the new wr. Using history and wearther as a guide it may go close to 2200.

Using Beni Meier´s fruit as a reference for day 60 weights of what might be possible this year and taking into account that many growers have therefore paid particular attention to their 2009 Wallace plants, I guess the new WR could be above 2400 lbs (most likely below 2600 lbs though), and there will be a good number of pumpkins to break the current WR (between 6 and 10).

Good possibility but just remember the majority of weight comes from density and regardless of measurement there have been a lot go light. Can't wait to see it be done

Whatever the case may be, it's going to be hard to keep track of the leaderboard in a few weeks' time. Should be fun to watch from the sidelines.

I went pumpkin crazy in 1996 the only thing that ever slowed me down was a sore rotator cup in 2005 thru 2009.

Bubba isn't crazy. You know you are pumpkin crazy when you don't let a little thing like rotator cuff surgery slow you down. I've been there twice, so I guess it makes me totally nuts.
