Grower groups are always interested in generating new revenue streams. A great way to do this would be to use an internet platform like DaCast or similar to stream live video from your local weigh in. The growers group would receive a large percentage of the pay per view charge and would get to expose their group to a large audience. I for one would love the opportunity to see a good show and would pay money to do so. As a person is viewing the show they could also participate in a live chat off to the side of the screen. Good fun stuff to be had. While it may seem like a daunting task it really is not anymore. All you need is a camera, a computer, and hard wired DSL connection at the site.

Or some motivated person could create a small business out of it and travel the country come harvest time as a tax deduction.

It will be a good day when I can be thousands of miles away but still watch the event on my sofa.
