not sure what happened weather was ok I had 2 1791 Holland that grew well 2 1220 Johnson did well self polled the 1791 and crossed the 120 with the1791 they polled good started off ok but im in the last of aug and all kins are basketball size with very little growth soil test was alright not great but ok the only thing I can think of is I followed a powered fish mmyco starter lots of powdered fish probly to much the patch was a jungle very large leaves and a lot of them im thinking maybe to many leaves so all the engery went to the leaves and vines to much nitgion from the fish powder ?

1000 sq feet 4 plants did not what was what 2nd year grower I have heard of the Christmas tree trim and a few others I should have applied what I learned so do you think I had to much salad ? and not enough sq footage per plant I had a vet grower respond last year explaining last winter you can have the best seeds out there but if you don't know how to grow them you will always have small fruit next year I will have a better plan and rethink my growing plan

Heat stress,not enough water,disease are your main causes to have fruit abort. Unlikely but possible to over fertilize with fish. You need to get somebody local to show you a successful set up for your climate. shade cloth and misting systems really help here in colorado. Your climate is similar.
