Minnie, a good friend of mine and my mentor as well, has asked that I congratulate Dan MacCoy on her behalf. She is happy that the old record has fallen, after all these years, and especially so since the record tomato was grown using seed that was the offspring of her beloved Big Zac. Most of you are aware that it was Minnie who made the original cross that resulted in Big Zac. Minnie also says she is thinking about building a small greenhouse in her back yard and pruning her plants a lot more vigorously this coming year. Congrats to Dan from Minnie.
