Dan MacCoy (Master P on here) weighed a tomato at 8.41 pounds today. What an incredible smashing of the previous WR.

The weighing was witnessed by Don Young and Bill Foss, and there will be lots of pics, as well as some great video coming.

Great job Dan!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

Please share your secrets soon! LOL

I hope the media and Guinness people were or soon will be involved.

I'm lovin' your 4.57 lb. seeds too - got three plants growing but I don't think I'm going to touch this amazing accomplishment!

Vaulted overnight into celebrity status - here's hoping you adjust well.

OUTSTANDING!

Just confirming that your 4.57 fits into this genealogy:

Big Zac (4.57 MacCoy 2013)(5.07 Bouydo 2010)(5.41 Harp 2009)(5.58 Timm 2008)(3.9 Catapano 2007)(4.59 Lyons 2006)(Big Zac F1 Commercial)

And from this BP website, also grown so far this year from 4.57 MacCoy:

4.25 May
2.25 Craps

The Big Zac (5.07 Bouydo 2010) has indeed shown outstanding genetics!

In 2013 it produced:
6.83 Boudyo
6.57 Boudyo
5.11 Daho
5.08 Werner
4.61 Finders
4.57 MacCoy
4.31 Daho
4.18 Daho and others

In 2012:
5.12 Daho
4.31 Daho
4.19 Montgomery

In 2011:
4.78 Boudyo
4.39 Boudyo

Please, anyone in the know, correct whatever might be wrong with this genealogy.

I've already made several successful crosses with the 4.57, so it will be interesting to see how those turn out!

thanks alot everyone!amazing indeed!
lots of pics will be in my diary on saturday.
i also have a 5.17 off of one of my 4.57 not updated onto the gpc yet.
as for the geneology i only know for sure as far back as the harp. don't know anything before that.

Did anyone notice Dan's March 29 diary entry? He was going to take the year off from pumpkins to go after the 8 pound tomato. Now that is either great dedication to achieving a goal, extraordinary prophecy, or both.
