I will us Lee's Giant Pumpkin Lifting Ring^TM to lift my house sized pumpkin. Lee is doesnt want to mention anything on message board I am sure cause he doesnt like to bother people but Now is the time to order to get a ring in time to get the big one lifted.
If its reallly really big he even has 27inch rings so those straps dont cut so deep you risk breaking that 1500 pound egg shell kin all you guys have sitting out in the patch.
Lee contact info is on the home page of Bigpumpkins.com just look for the Dino in a lifting sling for further details.

Whats an acceptable weight before a girl outta start thinking about getting a lifting ring...I'm over 800 on one and almost 800 on another. Is this still manageable without a lifting ring? If not, how big a one would I need? God knows I don't want to break it!!

My biggest pumpkins (above 900 lbs) felt nicely comfortable in the pumpkin strap lifter which was just hanging from a hook, without a lifting ring in between.
