Pumpkin has come to a crawl. Day 40 200 OTT. Is their any way to preserve it to Halloween? Should I caulk up the hole? I have had a fan on it for a week. The crack seems dry but it just got progressively deeper as the pumpkin continued to grow. I just hope I can save it for a few more weeks to show it off : (

Last season I had a blossom split I first sulfured it and filled it with dap silicone I bought at walmart and kept a fan on it and it gained another 200 lbs..... id say give it a try what do you got to lose :)
