I have a very large pumpkin plant which has a pumpkin growing around 12-14 ft. out on a side vine. It is growing very slowly. Would shortening some of the vines on the opposite side of the plant likely give it a little help? thanks

If the vines are already there just cut them and bury the ends on all vines. This way all the energy will go to the kin rather than new plant growth.

They are terminated and buried. It is an 850 ft. plant with a very slow growing pumpkin. I wasn't sure if limiting energy going to the opposite side of the plant would help.
