to many good growers to really guess. i could name at least 20 who at this moment have the heaviest pumpkins and many of them will be an after thought in october.weather and a little luck is also needed. weather is rhe great equalizer from here on out. stay disease free, great weather,long legs all count from here on out. i will say however, if your not in the area of at least 1,000 pounds by now? your chances are slim to grow a new world record

1000 lbs by this time.!!.. Lol.. That's ridiculous ...I can't even fathom that.. Huge kudos to all you heavy hitters out there.. I get just as much joy watching your pumpkins grow as I do my "little" ones...you guys are my inspiration!!good luck the rest of the way!!...so..pap... You and Ron close to that this year?..

I'm at a bit over 100 and 300 pounds on my two pumpkins. Is that close enough to 1000?
I hear that there is a nice one going in Ohio.

I do not have luck to pumpkins, this year I have lost. My colleague has pumpkins over 600 lbs, but I managed to grow a rather large cucumber, and I hope that it will raise a large watermelon.
