For those who hadn't heard, we were dealt a major setback when Cooperstown decided to discontinue the pumpkin weighoff. We hope that this year will be the start of a great new beginning. Our prize list is modest but the location is beautiful - Bethel Woods, the site of the original Woodstock festival. I'll post the hotel/ party info when we get that figured out.

Bethel Woods is a beautiful spot. Should be an excellent spot for a weigh-off. Great job Andy and the NY club for finding a great site and arranging a weigh-off on short notice.

Any growers who want to stop by my patch or camp the night before or the night of the weigh off are welcome. I am 35 minutes away from Bethel. Borders trout stream and large pond for swimming, fishing, kayaking etc..... or just general lounging and relaxing!
