I cleaned up my stump area on LordOlderBunZ... I cut a tertiary I let grow that came off of the first side vine. (See Pics to follow soon. As soon as I cut it, it started to drip. Seen that before, but this one never stopped dripping. The next day we got 3" of rain. Upon inspection it was still dripping even after it stopped raining for 12 hours. I waZ amaZed so I put a measuring glass under the drip at 7AM. Upon my return at 4:30PM the glass was completely full to the 5 OZ mark. The dripping had stopped. But upon my inspection at 7AM today, it waZ dripping again, same rate....

Thats interesting. Perhapse so much fluid is coming out if the vine that it is having trouble receiling itself. Just a guess.

Grow several plants& use them to water one plant.since that liquid dripping out is the right juice

I intentionally cut off small 2" slices on secondaries at stump and growing tip end when I had the start of foaming stump. They leaked for a week, but stumps were saved....except one. But I figure 6 out of 7 isn't bad odds.

We have cut 1" off the tips of a couple of the secondary vines before a big rain event happens to prevent any blow-outs due to the plant sucking up too much water at once. I think it works. Haven't had a blossom end split on any of the kins we tried it on. We don't need to worry about that here as we haven't had enough rain to soak a mouse over the past month. Good luck, Jane & Phil
