OK Darren I certainly not an expert but I had a major problem with this shortly after putting out my plants. My soil test in the spring showed a manganese of 1.I followed suggestions and amended my soil with a manganese powder (32%)diluted in water and sprayed on the soil so I figured I would be OK.Since I am by DesMoines we have similar weather and I felt that due to cold and rain I was washing out the nitrogen and added that. The plants grew poorly and leaves were stunted and finally I noticed the dark veins and light green leaf.Since little is more I started out with1/8th tsp man. per gal h20-went to 1/4 tsp to 1 tsp and finally went to 1 TBSP per gal h20.All this was foliar since I read that it is best foliar.I would use enough spray to cover under/over each leaf.It took me 4 applictions to finally git r done.I judged by how my leaves looked. My tissue tests after all this showed manganese level of 160 so hopefully I'll be OK the rest of the season.Hope this helps-or that someone that knows more chimes in.

ManZate is 16% Mn and as a fungacide, you can get the best of both worldZ... Kinda expensive, I could only find it in 2.5 Gal at $50 a gal
