...sorry, couldn´t resist to post this first comment, LOL. It probably depends on weather or pumpkin size or both. In 2011 my pumpkins (the four which made it through to the end of the season) had reached their maximum daily gains around day 34...36 (when they had reached OTT-weights of about 150...220 lbs). In 2012 my four pumpkins had already reached their maximum daily gains around day 28...31 (when they had reached OTT-weights of about 110...160 lbs). The behavior is quite representative for the year because of the four pumpkins analyzed in each case and the daily measurements which made it easy to find out the onset of the max. daily gains.

Been growing 14 years. Mine always get lost in the mail, or maybe I have misplaced it. Is it in a liquid or granular form. The boy's up the road seem to have a good supply of it most years.

Not sure how to add RGP (liquid or granular, drench or spray), my pumpkins probably take their RGP out of what´s available in the soil. Anyway, I must admit I also have the impression mine get lost in the mail whereas others seem to have plenty of it every year.
(RGP = "Rapid Growth Phase". Don´t ask me who´s selling that stuff.)
