Subject:  Thoughts on fertilizing when it's hot out?

This year i've been on a very strict fertilizing schedule so far the plants look great. I'm not sure if it is because of the fertilization or because of the mild temperatures. However, now it is getting up in the 100's. What is everyone's thought about fertilizing during heat waves? Should i continue my schedule...(I like to fertilize after the sun goes down) or should i alter my schedule and just wait until the heat passes?

Keep your schedule but its better not to apply any fertz (especially foliar), in the heat of the day, even more so do not foliar feed plants in the hot sun. Good Luck!!

If your hitting 100 your plant is shutting down at 90 degrees.so its going to use less ferts in the day but more at night assuming your having nights in the high 70s?I think I would back off for a few days on the foliars.If the heat continues only spray just before dark thirty.

thanks all and yes bubba high's in the 100's and lows in the mid 70's. I'll continue with my schedule.
