Hey who you calling weird? That's the pot calling the kettle back, and them there a fighting words. We go with a theme every year, this year is "Despicable Me" so we went with Agnes and Margo.

The deal here is that I get to choose seeds and the crosses and wife gets to choose names. Theme this year is disney/pixar princesses. We may have the signs made for next diary as we are getting ready for local garden tour next weekend.

i only name them if they are in that special catagory

PAP that is like waiting until your kids graduate high school or college before you name them. So you can give the appropriate names...as soon as they are keepers you have to name them :)

Wasn't there a movie years ago with Walter Matthau that features a boy who wasn't named and so he would keep trying different names? Can't remember name of the movie, must not have had a good name.
I gave mine names last, mainly so that my wife knew which pumpkin I was talking about- cause she really cares!

Bo and Lucille. Lucille was an elderly friend that passed away last year. Was a big fan of my pumpkins. Even when she wasn't feeling well she made it a point to come out for the vine cutting every year.
