I can honestly say the best thing about this growing season is that I have only had to water my kin 2 times so far. I really hate fertilizing in a mud filled patch though!!!!!! Burying vines is not much of a treat either under these conditions. I can not even imagine if I wasn't on raised beds. Likely some growers in worse conditions this year.

Iowegian: the master of understatement!! :}:} I'm so pulling for your plants Iow!!! I think it's amazing how you have kept going and remained upbeat with everything mother nature has thrown at you!!

Sounds like burying vines in those conditions is not a good idea at all. Your vines will rot if the ground stays wet like that.

Oh. did I forget to mention that the svb's are here in droves. I do plan on unburying my vines with a blast of water once it dries up enough. Next weeks forcast is looking promising!!
