I'm really liking the shape of my 880.5 Heyne (1622 young x 1618.2 Bryson) x 1127 Vincent/McGill (998.6 Pukos x 904 Stelts)

The vine is very yellow so i'm hoping for a nice orange pumpkin. As of right now on day 13 it has a nice round shape.

The 1412 Menting (1375.5 Liggett x 985 Werner) x 880.5 Heyne (1622 young x 1618.2 Bryson) also has a nice round shape on day 19

My lease favorite looking pumpkin...it's ugly 1127 Vincent/McGill (998.6 Pukos x 904 Stelts) x 880.5 Heyne (1622 young x 1618.2 Bryson) is ugly but it is growing the fastest on day 14.

Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

1st:The 907 Wagler x 619 Glasgow. Beautiful kin with beautiful color and shape...growing like crazy.
2nd: 710 Wagler x 1546 Shenoha. Nice color and a easy steady growing kin, not much fazes it, except 100 degrees, it does not like to grow when it's that hot. Can't say I blame her!
3rd: 308 Shewmaker (220 Debacco x open) x 619 Glasgow. Unreal weight gain, awesome shape, snow white, comes with 'jewelry'...aka 'funky leaf'. LOL
4th: "Groovy": Started out an ugly duckling, really ugly, even an ugly duckling was prettier! Now filled out and perfect jack o' lantern shape, nice dang color on her too.

oooooops:
5th: 619 Glasgow x 1546 Shenoha. Massive. White. ZERO weirdness. Growing on worst dirt and still plowing everyone else out there down. Crazy shape. Looks like it has the beginings of a 'forehead'. I refer to her as 'heady'.

LB that 907 looks exactly like http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=195891 so i had to go look up the original picture of the 907 http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/fruitImages.php?PN=907%20Wagler%202011 Not at all what i thought it would look like bright orange. But it seems like the 907 likes to grow big tall pumpkins...good luck and keep'r growing!

The 907 seems to have inherited a good load of traits from the pollinator (my 1098 Moretti plant).

http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=172730

Even though the 1098 Moretti (1385 Jutras x 1161 Rodonis) is the same cross as the 924 Wittmann, which grew my 907, this plant had produced a fruit with different (i.e., less!!!) color but pretty thick walls. Hopefully the babies of the 907 will have inherited the thick walls as well :-)

...forgot to add: I´m seriously happy LB made the cross 907 Wagler x 619 Glasgow (the latter is 2009 Wallace x self), and also considers this cross as her #1 cross this year, because the current behaviour of LBs pumpkins shows that the 619 Glasgow is one of the best plants in her patch. Fingers crossed that this fruit of the 907 x 619 cross will contain a good load of viable seeds, I´ve already put them on my to-do list as far as "What to plug next year?" is concerned.

334 Arnold which is the 960 Gansert x 1000 Gansert. Big, healthy, rapidly growing plant. I'm biased because it's my own seed but the kin on the main has great shape and is adding lots of growth now.

the 754 Schweigert pumpkin (pollinated with 1059 v/m) looks like it could be gorgeous also. Perfect symmetrical shape.

Both look like they are going to be very orange.

Looks like some great crosses out there all! I don't know if it is just me or maybe the weather but looking through all the diaries this year, at this time, there really seems to be some great looking pumpkins! Let's keep them going like this for a couple more months!
