How do I treat seed corn maggots I found in the soil near the base of my plants? If I use insecticide, I may kill the beneficial ground beetles craving the maggots for lunch. I am also noticing a high level of yellowing along vine, some in more mature leaves. I sprayed with seven and daconil more for the squash bugs and vine borers. I also removed damaged leaves and buried my main and secondary vines. I have been following a feeding program. We have been having alot of rain and some erratic temperature changes. At the present, I have a pollinated female as of the 9th of July. Please help!! New growth looks good, but I am wondering if you guys recommend continuing with triazicide? Also, I was on the Bonide website today and I did not find Bonide Eight pellets, and Bonide Systemic granular, as mentioned. I have heard of this on Garden Sense, a radio show, hosted by Yaz, owner of Rozen's Garden Center. Has anyone ever tried Poncho ViVo? I found this on FMC Agricultural Solutions. Let me know - thanks!! This seems to be hitting the garden really hard and I have never seen this before. Please help!!

spectricide seems to work well for corn seed maggots, seven and daconil will do nothing for vine bores you need to look into getting an imidacloraprid product such as bändit as a systemic control and a lamda product as a contact to keep them under control.
